What people usually want to know first.
Does OweScout pull my credit report?
No. In Version 1, you provide a report you obtained yourself. Supported files are read locally in your browser so you can review the extracted accounts before saving anything.
What is free, and when does the Premium trial start?
Your first manually created mission is free forever. For an eligible customer, the seven-day Premium trial starts only after monthly access is selected through secure checkout. Lifetime access does not include a trial.
Is OweScout a debt-settlement or credit-repair service?
No. OweScout helps you organize information, compare your own options, and track progress. It does not negotiate debts or provide legal, credit-repair, or individualized financial advice.
Will OweScout sell my financial information?
No. OweScout does not sell your financial information. Private records are scoped to your signed-in account.
Does OweScout hold or move Recovery Fund money?
No. Recovery Fund is a private ledger for amounts you record yourself. OweScout does not open a bank account, verify that money exists, reserve funds, process transfers, or prevent you from changing your plan.
Can I use OweScout on web, iPhone, and Android?
OweScout supports the web application and native mobile apps as their store listings become available. The Download page detects your platform and offers the appropriate configured destination instead of sending mobile visitors into the desktop app.
Does OweScout guarantee a credit-score or collection outcome?
No. OweScout is an organization and planning tool. It cannot guarantee deletion, settlement, score changes, creditor behavior, legal outcomes, or that a payment will be reported in a particular way.
How do I get help or delete my account?
Use Account settings for available export and deletion controls, or visit the Support page. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; manage that separately through the store used to purchase it.
